Aberlady Bay is a beautiful local nature reserve (the first in Britain when declared in 1952) and is renowned especially as a bird-watching venue. This circular walk heads through the reserve to take in the fine sandy beach before continuing to the village of Gullane and returning inland. Note that dogs are not permitted on the nature reserve. As a flat walk of around 6 miles it's a perfect Sunday stroll.

The Fife Pilgrims Path Walk Series

As we approach the 1/2 way mark of our walk series I wanted to say how much we are all enjoying the walks. As with all Spice events, members are getting to know others as we go. Real friendships are being made as well as excellent exercise for the body and mind.
