Discover the joys of the Land of Fire & Ice!

Much of Iceland is still taking shape before our very eyes - a raw, dramatic landscape being formed by volcanic eruptions and carved out by glaciers. Other parts have hardly changed since the first Viking settlers saw them more than 1,100 years ago. On this short break, you'll experience wilderness and wildlife, energy and total calm. Rugged, moss-covered lava fields greet visitors arriving at Keflavik Airport. Coupled with its interesting shores, bird life and whale watching opportunities, the South-West of Iceland, right on the capital's doorstep makes an ideal base from which to enjoy the twin delights of nature and culture.

In November the sunrise and sunset times in Reykjavik are approx 9.30am in the morning and 5pm in the evening. We do hope to be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights, although this type of natural phenomenon does not play to order (not even for Spice!).

The tour operator for this flight inclusive holiday is Spice UK (ATOL 9046). This holiday is protected by the Civil Aviation Authority under the ATOL scheme in the event of failure of the tour operator.
