This event is no longer available.

We'll set off from Woodsetts and walk mostly across fields, but passing through Swinston Hill Wood near the butterfly park to Dinnington. We return to the start on different paths.

This is a very level walk with long distance views for much of the route.

Please dress appropriately for the weather, stout shoes or boots are recommended. There is no halfway food stop on the shorter evening walks but take snacks if you need and a drink.

We should be able to get a drink outside The Butchers Arms at the end in their large beer garden.

Distance: 5 miles approx.

We're Good to Go logoDo not attend if you have virus symptoms.

We must all observe the social distancing regulations. Please do not book unless you are prepared to keep a two metre distance from other walkers. We are not requiring members to wear face coverings, but you are welcome to do so if that makes you feel more comfortable. We advise that you bring gloves and hand sanitiser. Do not share food or drink or equipment such as walking poles with other walkers outside your household or bubble.

We had a great time this year on our city break in Durham, so we have arranged another Easter break for 2023, and this time we are going to Lincoln! Lincoln's easy to get to by rail or road from Yorkshire and there is loads to see and do. Included in our weekend is a three-night stay at the fabulous Doubletree by Hilton, three breakfasts, three evening meals, a cathedral tour, a treasure hunt, a disco, a guided walk, and a river boat trip! I hope you can join us... Click here for full details of our Easter City Break Social Weekend in Lincoln.

On Saturday 29 October we are taking part in a short walk in aid of Sheffield Hospitals Charity. Why not join us? You can choose whether you walk on fire, Lego or both! It's just £25 to take part, but we ask that you also raise at least £50 in sponsorship for the charity.
