Overview

Ease away the tensions of a busy day with an evening walk.

This easy walk takes us along the River Mersey and through both of the nature reserves of Sale and Chorlton Water Parks. The walk is fairly flat and takes place on the tracks on the banks of the River Mersey and around Sale and Chorlton Water Parks

Getting There

Leave the M60 at junction 6. Take the exit from the roundabout marked Trafford Water Sports Centre and continue straight down Rifle Road until you reach Jacksons Boat at the end of the road. Car park on left.

Please note the start of this walk is very close to Sale Water Park Metrolink station.

Please bring your walking boots and a bottle of water. Bring a torch because most of this walk will be done in the dark!

DOGS: Lauren welcomes well behaved dogs on her walks. They need to be kept on a lead if we are walking amongst livestock, whilst we are eating and at all times if there is someone on the walk who is nervous of dogs
