Evening Ramble: Peak Pits and Rother Valley
Overview
Starting near Swallownest we make our way into the area known as peak pits an old mining area. It had been turning into a nice area for nature, but is being developed in part as a holiday area. However there is still a pleasant walk to find through the woods and making our way down into Rother Valley country park. We will walk back to the start through the park.

Outside the new Elmwood Farm pub on the A57 between Beighton and Swallownest.
Getting There
There is plenty of parking on the side roads near the pub.
