No race on the planet is quite like The Derby at Epsom Downs Racecourse. The Derby is for everyone, from racing royalty to racing rookie. Epsom opens its gates, arms and hearts to the world. In a way, everyone rides The Derby, being part of it, getting carried away and taking that feel good carnival spirit back home.

Gates open at 11am with the first race starting at 2pm.

Your ticket will be for the Grandstand Enclosure. The Grandstand Enclosure is set at the heart of the action, experience the famous electric atmosphere as the horses gallop past you down the finishing toward the Winning Post.

Dress Code for The Grandstand Enclosure

Guests are encouraged to dress smartly.

Ladies often wear a fascinator or hat but it is not a requirement.

Gentlemen often wear a smart jacket but it is not a requirement.

No sportswear or sleeveless vests should be worn.

Smart denim is acceptable but should not be frayed, torn or ripped.

Guests must not wear sports trainers.
