It's exactly a year today since we held our first two online Spice events in our Zoom room, just a couple of days after the government first advised again non-essential travel, and five days before the first lockdown began. It was quite the culture shock for us, more used to going out to get together! Those events were a coffee morning and a quiz, and both were hugely popular with Spice members across the country. We continued with a great many more coffee mornings and quizzes, along with game shows, puzzles, pictionary, craft workshops, dance lessons, charades, hypnosis, cookery lessons, watch parties, book clubs, music lessons, discussion rooms, themed party nights, and our popular TSI Friday events have become a regular part of the programme, often continuing until the early hours. We celebrated Christmas in the summer, and again at Christmas! We did Summer Solstice, Yorkshire Day, Halloween, Bonfire night, New Year and Burns Night. We have celebrated St Andrew, St David, and last night, St Patrick. It's
St George's turn next month! In a couple of weeks, we'll be
celebrating Easter online for a second time. In fact, tonight's wine tasting will be our 635th Spice exclusive online event! The events have been so well received that we have already decided to continue with an online offering into the future. If you still haven't tried one, why not
take a look at what's coming up?
