Easy Afternoon Social Stroll around Middleton Park near Leeds
Overview
Come and join Jill for a steady and socially distanced stroll around the almost 500 acres of Middleton Park in South Leeds. We will start from the cafe at the visitor centre and take a circular route returning to the cafe for a drink or snack afterwards.
Do not attend if you have virus symptoms.
We must all observe the social distancing regulations. Please do not book unless you are prepared to keep a two metre distance from other walkers. We are not requiring members to wear face coverings, but you are welcome to do so if that makes you feel more comfortable. We advise that you bring gloves and hand sanitiser. Do not share food or drink or equipment such as walking poles with other walkers outside your household or bubble.
Location & Itinerary
This is an easy stroll around the parkland.
Meet outside the cafe near the lake and visitor centre. This is accessed from the entrance on Town Street in Middleton opposite its junction with St. Philips Avenue. If the car park is full, please return your vehicle to Town Street and walk back into the park. Please allow time for this.
There are several entrances to Middleton Park but you'll need to take the entrance from Town Street.
Bus 13 LeedsCity stops near the entrance but please double check bus times.
