Early Dining at Buonissimo in Harborne
Overview
Buonissimo! means Fantastic! in English and this Italian restaurant certainly gets great reviews and was even named one of the Top 50 restaurants in the UK for service in the 2018 Top Table Diners' Choice Awards.so we thought it was time to try it.
We've managed to get a great deal by going for their early dining, midweek menu so why not pop out for a midweek treat.
You can choose a 2-course or 3-course meal and their menu includes some classic Italian favourites, such as bruschetta and panna cotta.
Price includes service charge but additional items such as drinks will need to be paid for separately on the day.

STARTERS
Salmone Affumicato con Gamberetti e Zucchine
Smoked salmon, crayfish and courgette ribbons. Drizzled with a lemon and olive oil dressing.
Bruschetta con Pomodoro Zucchine e Provolone V
Toasted artisan bread topped with tomato, courgette and provolone cheese.
Fusilli alla Scarpara V
A typical Tuscan pasta dish with vegetarian parmesan melted in to a spicy tomato, garlic and basil sauce.
MAINS
Pollo con Funghi Caprino e Salsa al Dragoncello
Free range chicken breast cooked in a cream, tomato and tarragon sauce. Topped with grilled mushroom and goats cheese. Accompanied with a timbale of rice and spinach.
Arancini Vegetariani V
Homemade Arancini (Sicilian speciality, deep fried rice balls) made with roast vegetables and a mozzarellina centre. Served in a spicy tomato sauce topped with vegetarian parmesan.
Merluzzo con Salsa di Pomodoro e Fagioli
Grilled cod loin on a bed of tomato sauce with Spanish beans and olives. Served with mashed potato, green beans and spring onions.

Coppa Rossa
A luxurious mixed berry semifreddo ice cream.
Foresta Nera
Chocolate cake with a zabaglione filling served with cream.
Panna Cotta Ripiena di Mango
Homemade vanilla panna cotta with a mango compôte centre and drizzled with a mixed berry coulis.
