Dinner Shuffle at Bill's Bar Leeds
Overview
Tonight's shuffle will be at Bill's Bar where we will enjoy a 3 course meal and move between each course allowing you to mix and mingle with other Spicers.
Bill’s story started many years ago when his Dad showed him a small space, not much bigger than a shed, just off the high street in Lewes, in East Sussex. Make of it what you will, he said. so Bill grew up planting, pruning and picking fresh fruit and vegetables. He opened a tiny greengrocery shop and a few years later moved the shop on to the high street and everything was going well until the town was hit by a flood in 2000. His shop was ruined so he had to start again, only this time he added a café. Often with more luck than judgement, they set out to create something amazing, with great food, a real buzz, and plenty to look at - a place for everyone. They had a lot of support and became a bit of a sensation. Since then they’ve grown but those values they had back then - to serve really good food, to make sure every customer has a good time, and go that bit further to make sure Bill’s is always somewhere people want to come back to - are still the same.
There is no bar area in Bill's so you will be shown straight to the table if we are downstairs or shown the way to the upstairs room if we are going to be in there. You will be able to order drinks from the waiter and pay as you go along.

Glazed ham hock terrine, celeriac remoulade, piccalilli, onion and toast

Chargrilled minute steak with rosemary fries and dressed pea shoots
Pan-fried sea bass with tomato sauce, niçoise olives, chive mash and pea shoots
Chargrilled Chicken Breast with a green leaf salad, rosemary fries, spicy cherry tomatoes and chipotle mayo
Beetroot steak with rosemary salted fries and vegan basil mayo (VE)
DESSERTS
Peaches and coconut ice cream layered with red berry sauce and coconut shavings (VE)
Mini cinnamon doughnuts served warm with cinnamon sugar, chocolate sauce and dulce de leche (V)
Chocolate and salted caramel tart with coconut ice cream (VE)
Bill’s Ice Creams and sorbets – 3 scoops choose from chocolate, strawberry, salted caramel and vanilla ice cream (V) coconut ice cream and lemon sorbet (VE)
