Dinner at Bangkok House, Oxford
Overview
Established in 1992, Bangkok House strives to provide an authentic taste of Thai Cuisine. From mild subtle dishes to hot and fiery dishes, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The traditional way to eat Thai food is with a spoon and fork from a flat plate. A plate filled with rice is taken alongside main courses, courses are kept separate so that you can enjoy the subtle differences in the flavours.
The food is flavoured with many things: Garlic, Lemongrass, Galanjal, Ginger, Basil leaves etc. Thai curry paste blends at least 9 different spices!
We had a beautiful meal here last autumn, afterwards we will pop into The Oxford Retreat for drinks.
