Curry Night at Namaste by Delhi DarBar

With a gentle ‘whirr’, ceiling fans waft a comforting breeze, carrying with it an enticing hint of the delicacies to come, while leafy parlour palms nod gently in quiet agreement. Cool marble and the sparkle of running water sit surprisingly well with the warmth of glowing candles and polished brass.

Inspired by the mid-19th century Indian Summer Houses of Delhi, stepping through our doors is a chance to step back in time. Plump jewel-toned cushions and intricately decorated wallcoverings would not appear out of place in a maharaja’s palace, yet our distinctly relaxed atmosphere encourages an immediate sense of belonging.
