Despite the well-publicised delays, completion of the Crossrail project is in sight. During the tour we will explore some of the lines’ structures in East London, including Canary Wharf roof gardens, the Pudding Mill Portal and a journey on one of the Crossrail trains. We also discover some fascinating connections with the original Victorian tube network. Come along and see the developments before the lines’ opening consigns them to the history books. Please bring your Oystercards to cover fares. Our finish point is Liverpool Street Station.
