Coventry Transport Museum - Last Chance to see for free!
Overview
Coventry has been home to a huge number of companies that produce cars, bikes, motorcycles and commercial vehicles. So it is fitting that it has one of the world's finest transport museums.
From 30 June, there will be an admission charge of £14 to visit the museum (unless you are a Coventry resident), so if you haven't yet visited, this is the last month when you can do so for free!
The museum's collection consists of 300 cycles, 120 motorcycles and 250 cars and commercial vehicles and over a million archive and ephemera items. There is a list of 20 "Star Vehicles" on their website including the worlds' fastest car, the 763mph ThrustSSC!
Our Visit: This is a very informal event. A volunteer coordinator will meet you in reception and fix a time to meet back and perhaps have a drink together. We will try to stay together during the visit but we also respect that people will have differing interests so this may not always be possible.
