This event is no longer available.

Who says grown-ups can’t enjoy playing with LEGO® bricks?! Join us at the Devonshire Cat on Thursday 9 August for Bricks and Beer, part of the Sheffield Bricktropolis Fringe.

Enjoy a free drink and ignite your imagination as you play with hundreds of LEGO bricks. We can pplay for fun or enter the Big Sheffield Bricktropolis Build (keep an eye on #BigSheffieldBricktropolisBuild on Instagram).

On the night, The Devonshire Cat will be offering a reward for the best pub themed LEGO model. It could be a pint, or a cat, or a bottle, or we could go off theme and make something completely different. It’s up to us!

To celebrate the Sheffield Bricktropolis The Devonshire Cat will have one keg of Peckham Pale Ale from Brick Brewery, based in London. It’s not often Brick Brewery beers make their way up north, so try it whilst you can!

What is the Sheffield Bricktropolis?

Sheffield will be transformed into a city of LEGO® bricks this summer as Sheffield Business Improvement District brings Sheffield Bricktropolis to the city centre from 4 – 17 August.

Head to www.sheffieldbricktropolis.com to find out more about the Sheffield Bricktropolis.

Update! If you're available earlier, join Shahram at 4pm to complete the Sheffield Bricktopolis trail. Meet at the bottom end of The Moor at 4pm. If you can't make it for the beginning then you can call Sharam to catch up with where the group is. Please let us know when booking if you are planning to join the trail first. You can see the trail map at https://sheffieldbricktropolis.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Sheffield-Bricktropolis-Trail-Map.pdf

Our Christmas events are filling fast. Both our Leeds and Sheffield parties filled up in the last week but we have managed to make a few more places available on each. Our Carol Singing at Peak Cavern is also fully booked. We also need to confirm final numbers for Santa's Shuffle at The New Conservatory in Leeds in the coming days.

Today is BBC Children in Need Day and we are supporting it this year by donating 10% of the amount paid by Spice Yorkshire members on new event bookings today* to this great cause. So if you’ve been intending to book that weekend break, quiz night, meal or abseil, why not do it today for Pudsey?

Whether you're the lead singer in a top band, a street busker, the first to put down your name when the karaoke is about to start, or the type that normally only sings in the shower, a great many people find that singing is a great way to relieve stress and focus the mind.
