Overview

Badminton is one of those sports where whatever your ability or level of fitness is you can still have a great game. Don’t worry if you haven’t a clue, you’ll soon get the hang of it and there are plenty of people who will be only too happy to help you get started.

We normally play doubles and mix around between each game

Don't worry if you don't have any kit - rackets and shuttlecocks are provided.

We play almost every Tuesday - the only exceptions are public holidays or if the sports centre is in use for a major event.

Includes

Use of racquets and shuttlecocks

Extras

The member early bird price applies to bookings more than a week before the event. The price then increases to £6 so it's worth booking early!

Really enjoyed it, have booked to go again.

Nice balance - social badminton but never dull.

How patient, inclusive and encouraging everyone was. Some very strong competitive spirits were muzzled, to ensure us newbies were given a fair crack.

The friendly sporting atmosphere pervading throughout balanced perfectly with an air of competitiveness. The evening is great fun both to new starters and experienced individuals and owes a great deal to the efforts of coordinator Andy Butler.
