Badminton (Free Event) Reading
Overview
Join us for a fun evening playing Badminton, with nothing taken too seriously and the chance to play with a whole new bunch of players. You just need a basic grasp of the game to play. You'll always find others with roughly the same standard as yourself, but you can also play with better players to improve your game. Players are rotated to give everyone a variety of games.
Rackets (if required) and shuttles are provided.
We sometimes pop to the local pub at the end of the session for drinks to round off the evening.

Getting There
From M4:
- Come off the M4 at junction 11.
- At junction 11, Use the left 2 lanes to take the A33 exit to Reading (Cen&S)/Basingstoke
- At the roundabout, take the 1st exit
- Continue onto Basingstoke Rd/A33
- At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Imperial Way
- Go straight across the next roundabout (2nd exit)
- At the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto Basingstoke Rd/B3031 (you will pass a Lidl)
- Turn right onto Hartland Rd (approx 3rd right after roundabout)
- At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Northumberland Avenue
- South Reading Leisure centre is on the right hand side of the road
From Reading Centre:
- Go along the A33 to Rose Kiln Lane
- Turn left on to Kiln Lane
- Cross straight over the first and second roundabouts
- At the traffic lights turn right
- At the next set of traffic lights (next to Cotswolds) turn left onto Buckland Road
- At the next roundabout take the 4th exit onto Northumberland Avenue
- Pass straight across 1 roundabout before coming to South Reading Leisure Centre on your left
