Art Walk: Firth Park and Wincobank Sheffield
Overview
A circular Walk from Firth Park taking in Wincobank Wood and Concord Park.
A Journey to Hidden Places is an exciting community focused creative art programme that celebrates the past, present and future of the Firth Park and Wincobank areas of Sheffield. It is made up of 11 different projects.
We wander through ancient bluebell woods, find the lost gateway, discover an Iron Age hillfort with super views over the Don Valley and search for 18 fascinating pieces of creative art, old and new, hidden around Firth Park and Wincobank!
Please dress appropriately for the weather, stout shoes or boots are recommended.

If you book and then for any reason you can't make it please let us know so we can offer the place to someone else. Do not attend if you have virus symptoms.
We must all observe the social distancing regulations. Please do not book unless you are prepared to keep a two metre distance from other walkers. We are not requiring members to wear face coverings, but you are welcome to do so if that makes you feel more comfortable. We advise that you bring gloves and hand sanitiser. Do not share food or drink or equipment such as walking poles with other walkers outside your household or bubble.

The route is mainly on improved paths and has a couple of moderate ascents.
Meet in Firth Park car park on Hucklow Road behind the First Start Children's Centre.
Firth Park is to the North of Sheffield not too far from Meadowhall and easily accessed from junction 34 of the M1.
We'll meet in the car park on Hucklow Road near its junction with Firth Park Road. There's more on street parking on either of these roads if needed.
Bus services are 45, 46, 47, 48, 75 and 76 from the city centre, or services 17, 45 and 46 from Meadowhall Interchange.
