Abingdon Treasure Hunt Trail -

Join Alison on a fun morning out in Abingdon on this self-guided Treasure Hunt themed Treasure Trail. As you follow the Trail route, can you solve the sneaky clues set on existing buildings, permanent features and monuments to discover the location of the buried treasure?

The Trail starts near Waitrose and takes you on a fascinating walk around key points of the town centre. This scenic route then continues across the bridge, along a stretch of towpath, back across the river and through Abbey Gardens, finishing where you began.

The Trail starts outside Waitrose. Parking is available in the Civic Car Park on Abbey Close (postcode OX14 3US). The Waitrose Car Park is for customers only and is patrolled, you have been warned!

Please note that there is a section of the Trail route which can get very muddy after heavy rain, so we advise suitable footwear.

This Trail is a circular loop approximately 2.5 miles long and takes 2.5 hours to complete.
