A Special Illuminated Christmas Trail at Blenheim Palace
Overview
It's the most wonderful time of the year as treetops glisten and the Great Lake and the waterfall of Blenheim Palace shimmer and sparkle with this beautiful annual illuminated trail event.
From the Heart of the Stars scattering shards of light across the lawn to a scented fire garden that adorns the Water Terrace, walk towards dynamic, colour-changing neon tunnels, lakeside reflections and onto a mesmerising place where, beneath the branches of a sprawling tree, softly glows the fairy-fire known as Will-o-the-Wisps.
Rest assured to those who have been before, the tunnel of light will twinkle and the fabulous hillside sea of light returns. Walk under larger-than-life arches of light into a world festooned with seasonal cheer enhanced by a soundtrack of festive classics as you wander beneath unique tree canopies drenched in Christmas colour.
If you’re passionate about food this is covered too with talented street food vendors bringing a delicious twist to the treats on offer. Have yourself a merry little Christmas and complete your walk under the stars with mulled wine and hot chocolate.
We have a specific time slot for the trail of 7.45pm so we will need to stick to the timing or we will lose our slot.
We have booked tickets for 2 groups of 6 for now which will be hosted and conducted separately. However, we will all be going through the trail at the same time whilst adhering to social distancing regulations at all times.
Please note: This is a ticketed event so there will be no refunds unless we can resell your place. Due to the restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 sadly the Christmas markets will not be available this year.
