Overview
Saturday 27.11.21, 8 mile, Richmond Circular Walk via Teddington Lock with Orleans House visit.
Please meet at the front exit of Richmond railway station at 0950, ready to depart at 10:00.
The walk is flat, alongside both sides of the River Thames, which we'll cross over via ornate lock bridges.
We'll visit Marble Hill House grounds (built for Henrietta Howard, mistress of King George II when he was Prince of Wales!). We will also visit Orleans House en-route to a pub lunch overlooking the Thames (at your own expense).
After lunch we'll return to Richmond Station via Teddington Locks and the River Thameside paths.
You might like to end the day by treating yourself to tea and cake in a café by the Thames before getting your train home.
Please bring drinking water, a Covid-19 protective mask, money for a pub lunch and any other drinks or snacks you may want.
Limited to 15 walkers plus Linda.
