7 Mile Walk From Caldicot Castle

This is a 7 mile walk starting at Caldicot Castle. The walk will take us to onto the banks of the Severn Estuary, passing close to the Prince of Wales bridge and onto Portskewitt. Portskewitt is full of history relating to the Severn Railway tunnel and has a small museum which we hope to visit. The walk is flat and on good surfaces.

You will need to wear suitable clothing for the weather on the day and walking boots in case it gets a bit muddy. At the end of the walk we will likely stop at The Castle Inn public which is close to Caldicot Castle and the finish for some well earned refreshments.

There is ample free parking at Caldicot Castle.
