We are exceptionally delighted to announce our most spectacular Ball to date…”Drum Roll” please…
Spice Thames Valley cordially invite you to their Pearl, yes you heard correctly, Pearl Anniversary Ball.
We have booked THE most exquisite hotel to host this special celebratory evening and weekend.
Boasting pure elegance, The De Vere Beaumont Estate lies just south of Windsor in Berkshire. Steeped in history its story is a very British one; a tale of democracy, royalty, education and religion.
With an 18th-century Georgian mansion house, and 40 acres of parkland grounds with natural ponds and magnificent specially commissioned garden sculptures there is no doubt that you will be wowed by the sheer opulence that this venue offers. And that’s not all; saving the very best feature for last, we can say with sheer confidence that the function room where the Ball is to be held will literally take your breath away as we dine and party in true Spice style in none other than a Romanesque style 19th-century Chapel. Yes, you heard correctly! Built in 1870, the Chapel has many unique features but one of the wow factors has to be the ornate painted ceiling with exquisite stained-glass windows.
During the course of the evening we will be delighting in the sumptuous wonders of a three-course fine dining experience. If you are expecting a regular party menu you will be sorely disappointed. This will be unique and special and of a very high standard. The menu will be announced closer to the time.
As this Ball is a celebratory event based on Spice Thames Valley succession of 30 years at the helm, we invite you to “Pearl Up” to the occasion. For example, ladies you could wear a pearl broach, garment, fascinator, shawl etc. Gentlemen, you could wear a single pearl coloured flower, pearl cufflinks, bow tie, etc. Hopefully you get the idea. We do hope that you will all embrace and support this theme.
The entertainment will be provided by Kevin, TV regular DJ, who will be mixing tunes from music of both past and present eras. He will take us dancing into the small hours of the following morning. For those of you who attended our Halloween Fangtastic party last year, Kevin had us on our feet dancing long before the food was even served. So, you can expect much of the same.
Whether you are local or from further afield there is an accommodation option (please see this link to that event). This can be booked as a one-night option for the party or as a two-night option if you fancy making a weekend of it.
Leisure facilities: Beaumont Estates has a swimming pool, open daily to guests. Back in 1882, when De Vere Beaumont Estate was a school, the very first heated indoor pool in the country was built here with decorated ornamental tiles and Regency style wood panelling.
For those of you feeling more energetic, there is also a fully equipped gym offering a range of cardiovascular and resistance training equipment suited to most levels of fitness. Good luck with that!
Anyone for Tennis? If you really want to work off some calories you could team up with some Spice friends and utilise one of the hotels Tennis courts. There is a refundable deposit of £10.
With Windsor on the doorstep there are so many fabulous places available for us to explore. So, if you would like to extend your stay and make a full weekend of it there will be some additional events to book. Some examples we are exploring are: a visit to Windsor Castle, changing of the guard at Windsor Castle, Afternoon tea at the hotel, Carriage ride in Windsor Great Park, etc.
The hotel is just 3 miles from Windsor, minutes from J13 of the M25 and 15 minutes from Heathrow; Egham station is also 3 miles away with fast connections to London Waterloo and Reading.
There is ample complimentary parking on site.
We hope that you will join us in celebrating this momentous event in Spice Thames Valley’s history.
With limited places we envisage this one-off exclusive event will fill up very quickly so don’t delay in booking. A £15 deposit secures your place.
