Join Brenda for this delightful seven mile walk on the quieter northern fringe of the New Forest. The route passes two earthworks, Castle Hill and Frankenbury. These were excellent sites for the pre-Roman Britons as there would have been clear views of approaching
hostile forces and a steep escarpment as a defensive feature.
After the walk, we will find a local pub for drinks and possibly some lunch (all payabale separately on the day).
