Walking with Alan: Chalfont St Giles circular 7 miles with optional picnic after the walk

Join Alan for a walk that includes 2 bluebells woods

We will meet on the village green, Chalfont St Giles, HP8 4QA. There is a large car park opposite that is free on Sundays. There are public toilets at the start - other end of the High Street on the right.

We shall walk to Philips hill Wood and then to Bottom Wood, both with abundant bluebells that should be close to their peak. We shall then double back to the start. Please wear appropriate footwear for a 7 1/2 mile walk and bring fluids. 

Alan will be having a picnic lunch at the end of the walk - we should be back by 1.30pm. There is a deli on the green that does things like toasties, breakfasts, sandwiches, jackets and salads. Please join him if you're not rushing off.
