Overview

Created in the 18th century, Nostell was crafted by hand and designed to impress. Discover decorative interiors by Robert Adam, a world-class collection of Chippendale furniture and one of the first long case clocks made by John Harrison. In 2017, we're celebrating the 300th birthday of this ticking treasure with events throughout the year including 'Harrison's Garden', an installation of 2,000 clocks curated by contemporary artist, Luke Jerram. Nostell's parkland and gardens stretch over 300 acres, taking in wildlflower meadows, lakes and woodland. Visitors can enjoy seasonal scent and colour in the Kitchen Garden or take a stroll in the Menagerie Garden.

We'll meet at 12.30pm at the Visitor Reception and then head to the cafe for lunch (extra to pay on the day) before exploring the house and gardens. The house opens at 1pm and closes at 5pm along with the garden. The park is open until 7pm.
