Smudge from All Outdoors has put this challenging afternoon of events by using skills and experience of a real Mountain Rescue Teams training condensed into one session!. The exercise, albeit condensed, to fit time and location, will include a sweep search, cliff rescue, constructing an improvised stretcher, and simulated injuries. Team skills include leadership, rope management, belays, abseil 'marsupal' rescue, care of casualty, etc. What a great opportunity to develop your team and personal skills and still have a fun day out, not forgetting the debrief in the pub after! All equipment provided, full instruction and support given, casualties provided free!!! In the pursuance of realism, we go whatever the weather. You need winter walking kit, cash for pub!, enthusiasm, ideas and a sense of humour.
