A classic Kinder experience not to be missed, visiting the Downfall/Crowden Head, the Woolpacks and Noe Stool. The going may possibly be a bit wet with plenty of troughs to jump/fall into/get stuck in so boots are essential as are warm clothes, waterproofs and a packed lunch.. About 9 miles in total.
Directions: Follow the A625 from Hathersage to Hope Village. Take the B road opposite the church (signposted Edale) and follow it for about 4 miles. Passing the main parking in Edale village and onto the small hamlet of Barber Booth. Look for a turning on the right just over the stream (if you miss this turn you will begin to ascend). Drive for a further 250 yards passing beneath a railway bridge to the parking spot (known as 'the Tips').
