Another brand new event this month which I'm sure is going to sell as fast as the newsletters hit the doormat. There is nothing quite like the exhilarateing feeling of gliding over land (or water) with both grace and power. With simple throttle and steering controls if, takes just minutes to learn the principles of driving a hovercraft but the freedom that follows will keep you enthralled. After learning the basics we will set up an obstacle course for you to get around and with time your lap times will improve dramatically. The event will be run with 2-3 of you driving each hovercraft each hour. Jeremy, the instructor assures me that is about all the time you can take first time round. Wrap up well with waterproofs and boots as you will be outside during your session. At the Haven pub there are drinks and meals available and if the weather is unkind to us, shelter. We will advise you of your time slots but if you have any preferences please mark your booking form. DIRECTIONS: The Haven is situated on the main Nottingham to Grantham road (A52) midway between gingham and 5otteetord. Access is by turning off the A52 towards Kedmile and f3elvoir Castle then a left turn into the car park.
