SCALE THE HEIGHTS IN THE WARMTH OF INDOORS IDEAL FOR BEGINNERS - A CHALLENGE FOR EXPERTS
We tried this event last month and it was absolutely brilliant. It's bound to sell well as all those who went last time are chomping at the bit to go back again. Keep in good climbing condition or try it for the first time in the dry and warmth of "the Wall" at the Foundry, the outdoor centre in the city. It offers a terrific range of climbing routes at every grade from easy to hanging upside down routes! With over 150 different climbs there is something for everyone from the very first steps to training for the British indoor climbing team. The centre also has a cafe, bar and outdoor gear shop.
Experts, can you resist? Beginners, don't worry! Start on the lower routes and progress - Our fully qualified instructor will help you to acquire the skills and techniques of climbing in complete safety. You won't be under pressure, but you will be totally involved. Experts will enjoy by progressing on the more difficult routes and by sharing the benefit of your experience with beginners. You will be amazed at the progress you'll make during the evening as your confidence grows.
The Foundry will provide safety harnesses, helmets, hardwear, instruction, first-aid kit. All you need, is to dress in comfy sporty clothes, trakky bottoms, T-shirt/sweat shirt, jumper etc., boots or trainers and wear a big smile!
