How do you start your investigations, what questions do you ask, and where? This evening is designed as a very basic introduction into what can become a most complex and fascinating subject!
Alan Holt is the Principal researcher from 'Family Tree Research', and draws on 25 years of experience in genealogical research. You will see how modern technology can compliment traditional record searching skills. The venue for the evening will be The Root cellar an Slaithwaite civic hall, the library of Huddersfield and District Family History Society
Directions: Leave Huddersfield on the A62. After approximately 5 miles turn right into Slaithwaite Town centre. Follow the main road through Slaithwaite town centre (it turns to the right). Pass a carpark on the right and turn right after approx 200 mts Civic Hall is on the right, before you get to the firestation.
