ON A BRIGHT SPRING MORNING TAKE A WONDERFUL FLIGHT HIGH UP IN THE SKIES - SEE THE BEAUTIFUL VIEWS FROM YOUR UNIQUE VANTAGE POINT IN THE PLAYGROUND IN THE SKY.
Our instructor is our Indiana Jones of the Skies, one of life's true characters who will keep you entertained. This is your opportunity to DO IT - fly up up and away in a beautiful balloon, a never to be forgotten dream come true. We've sent over a thousand members over 10 years, and its a marvellous experience you should treat yourself to once in your life. The balloons need early morning or late evening climatic conditions to be at their best and you should arrive at least half an hour before your scheduled take-off. You will be very much involved with the process of getting the balloons ready for launch, cold inflation, before climbing aboard and involved with packing it away afterwards. You could be flying for about 1 hour (could be less - could be more) and your landing (keep you head down - a controlled crash really') will be near a pub! It is tradition for Champers to be popped if its your maiden flight. Your Camera is an absolute must. Be well wrapped up as it can be cold early mornings (and if you go up to 10,000ft!) Also wear flat comfortable shoes. Transport will be provided back to your starting point and friends are welcome to follow the retrieval vehicle if they wish (but they must keep out of the way and wait close by the road until permission has been given for the balloon retrieval by the landowner)
IMPORTANT WEATHEP CHECK There is a weather check on the Friday after 2.00pm - Ring the Spice (West Yorkshire) office on 01484 461113 This may save you travelling if the weather is too bad.!
PLEASE NOTE:. If your flight is cancelled due to bad weather you will either be issued with a credit flight from the supplier which be may be used on another flight at your convenience or Spice will reschedule a new date.
