EXPERIENCE THE THRILL OF THE CHASE ON THIS TREASURE HUNT WITH A DIFFERENCE.
A super day for Spice by Spectrum - the company who get rave reviews and also ran the brilliant Moto Mania Day. We haven't run this day for a couple of years and when we did run it most of the members said it was the best day out they'd had with Spice in many years - so it must have been good! It is one of my personal favourite events so just ask me & I'll be glad to rave about it!! In fact to be true there are only 11 slots on this event because I shall be taking one of them!! if having to work out all those clues wasn't bad enough, how about trying to solve them half way up a boulder strewn rock face with a nice little 1:1 hill at the bottom, working you way around a sodden peat bog or even picking your way up a narrow trail with a 150' drop to one side, Treasure hunting with a difference in one of Spectrums 4x4 Off road developed Landrovers, each vehicle complete with instructor and winch, the vehicle can make it - the burning question is - can you? An exhilarating fun day out in the beautiful Peak district. Pure adrenaline in a landrover! All participants will take their turn at driving, and will be given a safety briefing before the start. Their are fun prizes and a presentation to round off the super day. There will be 4 members in each 4x4 and an Instructor. You need to take a packed lunch and a warm drink as we may not end up eating lunch near a pub depending how good we are at solving clues and whether we've got lost or not! Wrap up warm it can be chilly sitting in a landrover. Let's pray for once for a bit of rain as the muddier it is the more fun the event will be!
DIRECTIONS: The Fox House Inn is on a sharp right bend on the A625 before you get to Hathereage. Meet here in the car park at 9.15am for a prompt 9.30am start.
